ANTENNENVÖGEL
Museum im Kulturspeicher, Würzburg
In the foyer of the Museum im Kulturspeicher, Leipzig-based sculptor Matthias Garff presents seven bird sculptures — from local species like the blackbird and great tit to more exotic ones such as the bee-eater and hummingbird. Composed of found objects and everyday materials, these “antenna birds” reflect on how nature adapts to urban environments and how biodiversity persists despite shrinking habitats.
